Bullying: An Introduction addresses one of the most pervasive and concerning issues facing students, parents, teachers and schools today. According to current research, most teachers find bullying hard to accurately identify and are unsure how to address it, yet it affects their classrooms and school climates and impacts student learning and success. This course will provide participants with an introduction to research, helpful resources and practical strategies for addressing and preventing bullying. ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ911 that follow this introductory course will take educators into more detailed coverage: Bullying: Issues of Gender and Race, Bullying and the Internet, and Bullying Prevention.
